That's so utterly wrong. It wouldn't have been even close if the path was relatively clear.

Yeah hobbled or not he walks in. And intent doesn't even matter. That's what makes the red sox players interviews awesome.

It's all conjecture, but Craig was beaten by the throw by a good bit (2 or 3 steps). Middlebrooks' attempt was just too obvious... there was no way he wasn't going to get called.
