i know i'll probably get blasted for this, but i like a lot of old crow medicine show's work, especially their first album. i've never really listened to any other bluegrass type music.

Classics:
Bill Monroe
Flatt & Scruggs
Jimmy Martin (heavily influenced Monroe's "high lonesome" sound when a member of the Bluegrass Boys)
Osborne Brothers (Rocky Top)
Louvin Brothers
Stanley Brothers
Del McRoury

More contemporary:
Scaggs
Rhonda Vincent
Marty Rabon
Patty Loveless's bluegrass works (Mountain Soul and Mountain Soul II)
