Man a few years ago people made it seem like they were gonna SMU that program.

Glad no postseason ban. Golden's got these guys playing well.

I really don't get it.

How can the NCAA do what it did to Penn State, and USC, and lightly punish Miami?

And I'm not saying Miami deserved the hammer either.

Weak.

Congrats to the U on surviving it. Could have been much worse.

How does that work? Is it 3 scholarships a year for 3 years or 9 each year for 3 years? Sorry if thats a stupid question.

Honestly the NCAA should have came down on them but they really didn't have a choice. After them fricking up so bad on how they gained alot of their evidence Miami would have definitely had a case to sue the NCAA and get it all overturned if the sanctions were that bad.

At least they didn't hold a barbecue or they'd have been in DEEP trouble.

And Clint Hurtt gives to live high on the hog, remaining on UofL's staff with a two year "show cause" penalty, and no recruiting through 2015.

He totally didn't buy Teddy Bridgewater or anything.

They gave themselves a 2 year bowl ban. Last year they chose not to play in the ACC title game with a trip to the Orange bowl on the line.
