The converse to this is asking how many times LSU has dominated a game, only to have it be up for grabs late?
UT - 2005
UF - 2006 (LSU was pounding UF in the first half, and pissed away chances to score)
Ark. 2008
UGA - 2009
MSU - 2009
UT - 2010
UF - 2010
UNC - 2010
UF - 2012 (6-0 at the half with UF doing nothing on offense, and LSU blowing a shot to get a TD before the half)
Ark. - 2012
MSU - 2012
Clem. - 2012.
TCU - 2013
It's the yin and yang of Les. He rarely gets blown out, yet he rarely puts people away early. It's as if his philosophy is "do just enough to make it a game in the 4th." Big lead. Sit on it, we'll win it at the gun. Down two TDs. Fight like hell and give us a shot at the gun.

For several years now, it seems we've lacked that killer instinct the defines "dynasty" programs. We take our foot off the gas (or off the opponent's neck) and wind up limping across the finish line, sometimes finishing second. I've never understood the concept of going conservative and then being surprised that the opponent didn't get the memo that we're supposed to win. It's frustrating.
