Lil spicy speaks engish and mixes in some French words in sometimes, like I do. Im disgusted.. She got her report card back from pre k and she got a's in everything except for the "e" (needs effort) in "using correct grammer and pronunciation" because she mixes in Cajun words she knows with English and her teacher doesn't know WTF shes saying....

I want to write a note back and just say GFY

Sounds to me you need to have a talk with your daughter.....not the teacher. You can't expect someone that doesn't know Cajun French to learn it just because your kid intersperses English with the occasional French.

I'm from NeLa and dont know a single word of cajun french, but im still with Stacy on this one. It's a shame teachers are killing south LA culture and heritage by not including that in their teachings.
