The third interception was the product of an innate lack of sense, I'm afraid.
There was no reason to aim at OBJ. Just float it over to his left quite a bit and he would have easily outrun his defender for the catch.
That lack of sense, though, is not particular to Mettenberger. It's common among quarterbacks... they think they're good enough to throw perfect passes but their success rate would be greater if they incorporated simple physics into their long throws.
