You may hate the logic but it's true. I've been an FSU fan since I was a kid, but I'm not going to rank them above Alabama. It really doesn't matter come seasons end if you're 1 or 2, just as long as you're 1 or 2. Until Alabama proves they aren't deserving of the #1 ranking, I'll continue to say they're #1. They came into the season ranked there and haven't lost yet. Can't knock a team for winning.

How is it true? Why should 1 team benefit from what another team accomplished? That's just stupid. I agree many pollsters will vote that way and its fricking stupid.

Again, completely faulty logic. You are saying that the OPINION of who was the best team in JULY means they should remain ranked higher than other teams no matter what happens over the course of the season.
That's is everything that is wrong with polls.
