I have a question, and I'll readily admit I'm ignorant on the subject so that's out of the way.
But how come he is THE doctor across the entire country for sports injuries? It seems like any time a high profile athlete gets hurt they immediatley go to Andrews. Does he do something different than everyone else? I mean I get being the best in your profession, but why exactly is he better than every other surgeon in America?

made his name doing tommy john surgeries. after seeing success, more people kept coming and coming and that's how he got into the spotlight. he's done like 40,000 surgeries

People simply do not understand how difficult it is to attain $10MM in net worth. Taxes, insurance costs and overhead for an M.D. are astronomical.
I guessed $25MM, but the divorces may explain the number.

If he charged $10,000 per surgery, which is probably low, that would be $400,000,000. Also, that is just what he has earned from surgery and I am sure he has A LOT of other income streams. I know he has to pay overhead, taxes and has been divorced but I can pretty much guarantee you he is worth more than 10-14 million.

Exactly. He could charge $500,000 per surgery and still have enough clients to do 10 a week!
