Just going to throw this out there.....
Haven't we seen that when Oregon plays elite schools that their great QB's come down to earth? I'm not saying he's not a good QB, but he's playing in the PAC12. It is what it is.

Are you meaning SEC teams only? Because according to the "Team SEC" mentality around here there aren't elite teams outside the SEC.
Oregon has never had a "great" QB in the past since Kellen Clemons. Mariota is by far the best since.
He's a heady QB who isn't making mistakes and has more TD passes as Manziel, and 5 fewer INT's. This competition isn't nearly as distant as many east coast homers seem to believe.
