I'm interested to see how they move on after Christopher Abbott's departure considering last season's finale.

Through the first season, Adam, Marnie and Shoshanna were the biggest draws to keep interest in the show. Adam had to fight his demons and insecurities. Marnie's story showed somebody being in a good relationship, but battling with boredom and the consequences of placing freedom over a relationship; plus she is hot. Sho had to experience NYC through her own eyes and not "Sex and the City" and realize how difficult it would be being young in NYC; plus she is cute.

Lena Dunham obviously realized that she had basically written herself out of the show. In the second season, she made Adam a villain, dumbed down Shoshanna to where it is painful to listen to her speak and made her a cheater. She made Marnie the stalking, delusional, naive ex-girlfriend that you just can't root for, all while we are suppose to feel sorry for Hannah because she battles with her disease/condition.

The second season was absolute garbage. I'll watch the first few episodes of three to see if it get turned around, but I don't have much hope.
