Will CBS negotiate with ESPN to make the LSU/A&M game a 7:00 primetime game like they did in 2011 for LSU/Bama?

I don't want to hear that it can't be done due to contractual obligations. Those same obligations existed in 2011 and they made it happen.

I think the possibility is real and distinct. CBS has motivation to do this, and ESPN can be bought by giving them some future concession(s) in future years.

Sure it's a possibility

There's nothing else that can be said to improve this topic

I suppose you could say it is possible, but it won't be a 1 v 2 matchup like LSU-alabama was in 2011 and they will have had a prime time game a couple of weeks earlier. I wouldn't count on it being moved.

doubtful

the SEC slate for the weekend is pretty lackluster

Mississippi State @ Arkansas
Vanderbilt @ Tennessee
Kentucky @ #15 Georgia
#14 Missouri @ Ole Miss
#7 Texas A&M @ #6 LSU

I would imagine that CBS and ESPN probably don't have a great working relationship after the SEC network announcement. I doubt CBS would want to give up anything to ESPN when the 2:30 slot has proven already this year to be quite lucrative.

No. I personally thought even before we played 1 game that aub would be our only sec night game. I still think that.

I hope to God they put the game at 2:30 so the rant can have its precious "Thing Over Which To Melt Down Even Though It Isn't a Big Deal."

Here's a question for you anti-conspiracy kooks:

Why does CBS or anyone else for that matter, have to seek permission about the timing of the LSU/TAMU game? If CBS has the "rights" to broadcast it, would they not do so when they thought it in the best interest of the network, whatever that turned out to be?

Bama will only have one loss to. They won't be left out of the nc game with one loss. ESPN and all their other Saban mistracies will see to it.

if it ends up being #1 aTm versus #2 LSU, then I can see some bargaining happening. IF it's #4 vs #6 or so, it'll be a 2:30PM game
