If I was in Boston it would be different but I came to the realization several years ago (after 1/9 LSU-BAMA) that I won't let a game effect me like that again. Life is too short for that shite.

THIS. After we won the Super Bowl, I have let losses bother me less and less (although I still couldn't go partying after a loss like that - see me in SF after the 2010 playoff loss, on the Cal Train ride back from the stadium I swore I would immediately leave the area and never return).

All I ever asked for before winning the Super Bowl was to at least see the Saints just win it once. Please just once

Now after the win, I am trying less and less to let things I can't control bother me. Life is too short.

what made that brutal was les quitting on his team. WHat coach in their right mind would not be running 2 minute no huddle down 21-0?

Same thing happened to me after that game. I embarrassed myself with how I was acting. Went home to my newborn son and realized life was way too short to let a game consume me so much.

I still go nuts and get very pumped and heated during games but don't get so somber and sulk for hours after losses. I'm much happier now too.
