re: What is the boards concensus of fish cleaning knives

The best electric knife I have is a 1985 GE model. I think they geared them differently back then, because it is seriously much faster than any newer one. I've had numerous newer ones, and the nearly 30 yr old knife smokes them all.


I say "smoke" literally. It gets kinda hot and you have to set it down after about every 20 trout to let it cool off, and I make sure to wear rubber boots while in operation to thwart off electrocution. Nevertheless, it's badass. You can pick one up on Ebay for $15 or so.
