My first thoughts as well.
Look, this is how he is. This is why he's been such a mainstay in this league for so damn long. You don't hold such high praise in a position like he has for this long without having years of a young defense trying to find itself. I've been following the Chief closely since his days at Tennessee, as I grew up a diehard UT fan in a family whose blood runs orange. That man cares more than anything about his players and we should be lucky to have him. Tennessee fans treated him like shite those last few years in Knoxville, my family included. He's one of the greatest coaches ever in this league.
It'll be a tough day when he decides to hang it up.
