The ump must have assumed that with all of the contact there must have been a tag. He wasn't tagged, but he was so clearly out had he been tagged that it was a "neighborhood" play. The "neighborhood" is getting bigger, but I would never have sent him.

I don't know if that was Mattingly's decision or Wallach the 3B coach. It was a dumb move. The ball was too shallow and Beltran has a gun in RF.

We know you're brilliant, and we can't wait to read your posts. How about looking at the thread before you drop some wisdom on us. In the first 3 posts they have a picture that completely ENDS all argument related to this.
