Intimidation of an officer can be as simple as saying, "I will have your job!" according to Ms Law. I don't know what La law says though.

So telling a cop you want to become a cop is intimidating to you guys? I'd grow thicker skin.

There is a lot of hate here for cops. I am siding with the refs in this case but with a Brother, Father, Uncle and Grandfather as Portland Police, I don't envy their job. However, I doubt any of them would've pulled the stunt that the officer did in this scenario. I chalk it up to a bad apple.

Not in your context, but by law if you threaten a officer with losing his job while he is performing his duties then you are violating the law. He can charge you with that. The guys that usually get charged with this are guys that threatend DUI officers, usually guys with a little money and to much alcohol.
