Dude he there at the discretion of the school to do a job at any point during the game he can be told you are not doing the job that we want you to do so you can go back where you came from.

Was he being paid by Covington PD or St. Paul's? If he was being paid by the PD then he was working for them not the school. If St. Paul's was payng him then they do have the right to "fire" him.

The LHSAA guy said officer was acting on his own as a spectator. The people causing the issues were the officers guests. He was a fan but showed up in his uni to get on the sideline. Confusion came in when ref thought he was working the game. Cop wasn't being paid and it was his people causing the issue.
