Landry hits me as a possession receiver, as in the Anquan Boldin build.

Not build, mode

No offense at all because it is not just you

I think I know where you are coming from, as far as him getting his big hands on anything no matter how much the defender is draped over him

But I am tired of hearing people compare players (like Upchurch) to Boldin

First off it shows a little frame of reference, thus allowing for unfair or inaccurate assesments

BUT NEVER MIND THAT

I also think Landry is similar to Boldin. They both have great hands and are possession recievers. By that I mean that they make the tough catches in heavy traffic and get yards after the catch. Also, they are both excellent blockers and overall very physical players.
Also, Boldin is arguably the best slot receiver in terms of stats/production and blocking in the last 10-15 years IMO and I see Landry doing the same thing. I don't think Landry is a #1 type receiver but could be more of a 1B if he goes to a team with a solid #1A receiver like Boldin had with Fitzgerald in Arizona.

So I see Landry as a great #2 or a #1B type receiver, basically a great compliment to a solid #1 receiver or at least a solid deep threat reciever. But I see Beckham as a potential #1 receiver with deep threat capabilities. I think OBJ will work mostly on the outside and deep routes where Landry will work more intermediate routes and middle of the field.

Now what if they both go to the same team?!?!
