Best news of the month. I know, that's not saying much... But thank God someone in D.C. still actually gives a shite about this country.
And what does Obama's first choice have to say about it?
"Summers also welcomed the decision, saying that “Janet Yellen is a terrific choice to lead the Federal Reserve. I have admired and learned from her ever since she taught my first macroeconomics graduate class in 1976,” he said in an e-mail."
True to form, it's all about me, Larry Summers, and my glory days in college. Thirty-seven years ago... No wonder the Rubin Gang liked him for their front guy.
