With the NFC south down besides the saints, would it be late November? I haven't done the math yet

gonna be a while, still lots of football to play.
The Falcons will probably get it turned around too.

I am not counting my chickens just yet. Besides the 49ers, pats and Seattle , I don't see the saints losing any other game . If atl loses tonight I would start to think the Falqueens might quit on smitty

I think a lot is riding on the game tonight for the Falqueens.

Falcons win tonight and every remaining game except saints and saints go undefeated....week 12 is earliest

its a race for NFC seeding, division is kind of irrelevant.

If the Falcons lose tonight, it's not mathematically locked up for you guys just yet. But let's be real - it is. ATL has choked this year. TB is god awful and so is Carolina.
You just need ATL to lose tonight... and it's over. ATL fans will turn on Mike Smith hard and I'd imagine some players would have to have lots of doubt as well.

Touché .. Seattle hasn't looked that good the past few weeks

hmmm, we are 5-0, falcons and panthers are 1-3. Therefore to guarantee the division we need to finish with less than 3 losses so we would need to win 9 more games. So, December 15.
Of course, if we win our next 8 games and start 13-0 then we lock up the division regardless of any other games as we will have added another loss to Atlanta and Carolina. So, December 8.

Good point double down . I think it is a legitimate question . Lot riding on the game tonight

home in the dome to away in seattle is a pretty huge swing.

Oh I forgot we historically play like shite at Carolina

If Seattle gets home field I don't see anyone beating them up there in that hornets nest . Same goes for the saints

I know it's early, and I might sound like a homer, but I think this is what it's gonna come down to. This is very likely the top 2 seeds by the end of the regular season.
I'm hoping Seattle continues to struggle on the road, because the Saints will lose a few... which ones, we have no clue yet. If the Saints have to travel to Seattle for the playoffs, the chances of coming out of the NFC are just not good. I think this Saints team is about a 12-13 win team, and hopefully that is enough to get the top seed.

I would not be surprised if we split with Carolina.
They are always a pain in our arse.

4 of our last 6 games are divisional.
We still have to go to Seattle. Then we have a short week game.
13-0 we have everything on lock

I can't see the birds losing DD but if they tank it will be on Smitty ball and that he's lost this team.
In that case the Div would be ours.
