Given that the goal in a football game is to win, I'd say the most relevant stat regarding the LSU defense is that MSU only scored 3 points in the second half.

You don't punt after turnovers, FGs, missed FGs, failed 4th down conversions, and end of halfs....just an FYI

Mississippi State had 3 points in the last 36:28 of the game. In today's game, who cares what they do between the 20's?

Second half: FG, missed FG, downs, INT, fumble, half. When you needed your defense, they got it done.
