Should we try Mesa 2 now?

I think we need 4 PD, but I'm not sure about the best attack point. It seems a lot easier for your crew to get split off from the group.

The second tier of reward chests is better than the first:
Chest I gives 100 Merits, Tomes (hero exp), and hero cards
Chest II gives 150 Merits, Essence (skill exp), and possible hero slot or dungeon entry cards.
I don't know if Mesa 2 is consistently winnable like Mesa 1 is due to how its setup with the Boss being located at the bottom. I haven't looked into Mesa 2 enough to know a good proven strategy to win.
Chest Rewards for anyone interested
After watching a few videos, it looks like you need to switch your lineup to opposite of Mesa 1 and start from the top/left of the formation for Mesa 2. There are apparently a number of those purple crawling bombs on the bottom/right open path that absolutely crushed anyone near them in the videos I saw. Example 2. There might be other bombs but I didn't notice any.
And of course, you also need at least 3 PDs.
