Also, can you help me choose some new talents?
I have just been choosing the best hero I have with a worthless talent and rolling to see what happens, fingers crossed for something just a bit better. Rinse, repeat. In the last 6 weeks or so, I have gone from a bunch of 1/5 worthless talents to now having PD, Druid and GR all with 3/5 Berserk, Champ with 1/5 Berserk, TG with 2/5 Revive, and Immo with 3/5 Revitalize. Not the greatest set of talents, but with all those Berserks I'm on the brink of turning the corner on the boss I think.
Personally, I think high level Berserk is one of the best all-around talents on almost any hero. Attacking faster means more procs, and that's what it's all about. Revitalize is very handy for arena and boss, where it's crucial to proc asap, especially for buffing heroes like PD and Cupid, and Revitalize on Champ would be pretty sweet too.
For you, I would probably recommend rolling your Champ's talent first. I don't think that War God is helping him much, he would be better off with Revitalize or Berserk.
I guess, basically, try to settle on talents that play to the hero's strength's, rather than ones that "fix" his weaknesses. Reason being a 10% boost to a high stat is better than a 10% boost to a low stat. Also, if a hero's strength is his proc, settle on a talent that plays that up (berserk, revitalize). If he attacks fast (ninja, GR), make him faster (berserk) or give him a talent that works off a % per attack (heavy blow, deadly strike, life drain).

Heavy Blow is almost a necessity for keeping the boss stunned. On at least one character, if not two. I have 2/5 Heavy Blow on Druid and Champion, plus Champions proc stuns and so does TGs. I also have 4/5 Heavy Blow on Succubus but she's not in boss fights right now...I may add her back into the mix when I get my 6th base. So, with boss fights, I have basically 4 stunners: Champion counts twice (proc and talent), TG, and HB on Druid.
Revitalize is the best on pretty much every hero for arena, with the exception of maybe Druid (some would argue the best for him would be Berserk).
Those are what you want to go for IMO. A high level revitalize on Pumpkin Duke is just excellent everywhere. A high level revitalize on TG or Champ can also be an excellent starter for boss fights. At one point I traded a 3/5 revitalize on Succubus for heavy blow because I was concentrated on boss fights...but in hindsight I should have kept it because my arena shrine DPS suffered.
I also kept a War God 4/5 on Spirit Mage.
