LET'S BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT STEALING TORCHES TOO EARLY IN THE ROUND
It looks like the number of torches you have determines your rank, and obviously the higher ranks listed on the first page will get attacked a lot more often. So, it's probably smart to hang around in the 40-50 ranks until the round is almost over, then in the last couple hours start stealing a lot. Might want to get online half an hour early tonight and steal some before the boss fight.

how long does it take for you to be able to use an individual hero again for defense? I just successfully defended 6 attackers, but I'm out of heroes and we are going to get raped bad here in about 5 minutes. Tons of attackers against us right now.

I just guarded. I don't know what that means but I went through 3 heroes to defend it. Lol

But you see what I mean, guys? Nobody was attacking us until we got to rank 10. After some torches get stolen we will roll back off the first page and the attacks will settle down. We need to pile up the torches just before 9 tonight.

We can probably get on throughout the day and steal torches here and there just to stay above 50/100, but off the first page of guilds to attack.
