You like your shields too much.
Drop the shield and raid that last little bit, you'll feel much better about not having that shield once that last mill gets started.

I have been farming HBM F pretty good, so I gave G another try and I beat it with only 1 tower loss! Feeling cocky, I tried it again. Nope. First wave took out 2 towers, second wave came same direction and killed Druid, and third wave came same direction again and wiped me out.
Ah well, the F rewards are good for now.

I need a setup too. I am farming E but I have all of my towers and 5 days from an extra hero. I need to step it up

Really? What are your garrisons? I think what happens to me when I lose G is too many troops get close enough to take out a tower or two in the first wave, and it's all downhill from there. Maybe if I had green garrisons it might solve the problem, but I'd rather not do that.

I farm G with zero garrisons with this setup, I almost never lose (maybe once or twice/week), and I usually get through without any hero losses. No troops either:
Towers 8/8/8/6
Hero bases all 15

I just made this my setup. I farmed F but I got beat up pretty good. Lost 2 towers and all troops
