I let them stay on the plant until the outside is completely golden. The naturally ripened fruit is the most tender, sweetest thing you have ever eaten. Much better than the store.

I don't spray them with anything except h2o. I do throw a little fertilizer on them however. Also, I use regular potting soil, not the recommended cactus soil or whatever.

always wanted to do that but ever since I got rid of my indoor garden I can't. looks awesome
