Yeah, give more info. Did you buy a plant or did you chop the top off a pineapple and DIY?

ok it all started 5 years ago. I was at a friends house and they had a pineapple plant, but didnt know it was a pineapple plant until a fruit grew on it. Made me want to do it.

So i got a pineapple from the store, and followed these instructions.

well i kept the plant but it never did much, until two years ago when we moved to new orleans. i was taking the plant off the uhaul and noticed the middle looked funny. i was like holy crap! its growing a pineapple!

i used that pineapple top to start another plant, and it also grew two shoots that i planted. fast forward to now, i have three plants going and have given away another half dozen or so. Only present ive ever given to my dad he actually likes these will be #3 and #4 fruits this year. its an easy and healthy addiction i've acquired. my brother started calling me Dole.
