Louisiana:
The James bond movie forget the name and haven't seen it in years. I grew up watching it with my dad.
Joe Dirt was solid
Beasts of the southern wild was solid

I'm having a tough time thinking of movies.

Muscle Shoals....watching it for the second time today....quite possibly the best documentary I've ever experienced....

Edit: Forrest Gump is way up there too although it takes place in multiple locations...

Not one mention of Bad Luitenant: Port of Call New Orleans?

The movie is gold.

The Firm
Walking Tall
Silence of the Lambs had one scene... does that count?

Oh Yeah.. The Blind Side... That would actually classify as favorite movie set in the high school you graduated from (albeit 20 years prior)
