Used to put out a few hundred on Catahoula, they work well. I turn must of my old decoys into coots, but I do like the visibility the black/white contrast gives your spread from a distance.

Painted Clorox and 2 Liter Bottles. Seen them on Black Bayou in Monroe (pre-Refuge days) and also out on Wham, along with Catahoula. Any place where you need a few 100 or so on the cheap.

The visibility is what I like. The 3 on the bottom right are some I made 2 years ago. It's eye catching from a distance so I made about a dozen more.
