Many here are too young to remember Dalton as an LSU player, but that guy was phenomenal. No LSU running back since, maybe excluding Kevin Faulk, has ever been as good.

Cecil, Hill, Toefield, Addai, Smith, Davis, etc.... don't even compare. (Cecil had the chance, but blew it)

Really wish I could have seen him play.

While I agree, prepare for the hate as many feel Hill is the best RB EVER to wear an LSU Jersey.

Agree, guy was a phenom. Kind of a squat down runner, amazingly shifty, and had a lot of power with those tree-trunk thighs.

Hilliard and James are as good a duo as LSU has ever had.

Hilliard is still the most exciting player I've ever seen in P & G. maybe ever will be.

He wasn't the fastest back, but it didn't matter. He was extraordinarily quick and had such dynamic moves as to make open field speed almost irrelevant. No LSU back since has had moves like Dalton.
