I think USC is a great job normally but I'm not sure about right now. The bigger is probably that Sumlin supposedly has been more interested in going to the NFL than ultimately staying in college.
And USC will still have limitations for the next year or two... and Sumlin will have to build recruiting relationships in California. The advantage he had in moving to A&M was he already knew the recruiting grounds in Texas. California is a different set of relationships.
