Please stop insulting the 2008 defense by comparing them to this one

If we had half of the 2008 defense, we would be undefeated. No LSU team has ever scored 40 points in four quarters and lost a damned game. There has never been a defense this bad.

2008 Defense would have made at least one stop

The D better step up. We actually have people on this board posting threads about winning out the rest of the season. These plugs are on drugs. This D needs to improve by light years, or, LSU will lose at least 2 or 3 more games.

Are you too stupid to realize we were blown out multiple times In 2008?

Stop. You keep saying this in different ways. Unless you go back and watch the games, you're speaking based on some stupid notion you built in your head. The two decent teams we played that year both dropped 50+ on us. Troy put up 31, and a major comeback late saved LSU from too much embarrassment. Go look at the numbers, and they're just as bad or worse then than now. Those are with experienced players too. This is just this year's way of trying to make it seem like the program is doomed. Let it go. Good teams occasionally lose.

The only time I've EVER seen a D look this bad was in '96 when Florida and Spurrier threw up 56 against us. We all knew that was Florida, the Swamp, and Wuerfel and not the D being that bad. This seems different. This may be the worst D I've ever seen and I've been following LSU since 1982. Yes that includes the Stovall, Archer, and Hallman years. I've NEVER seen a defense so defenseless. They gave Georgia absolutely no resistance whatsoever.

2008 defense gets some kind of a pass rush on Murray.

Are you just messing around?

We are going to lose all the remaining games, except Furman, but we won't beat Alabama. They suck and should be easy to beat if they actually have to play anybody but they don't. LSU is certainly not anybody.

You are correct.
Hate to defend Malleveto but they tried a few different combinations and played a lot of different people. The Express Package did give them a glimmer of hope.
This D is not young, inexperienced and short on talent. It's time to let the young guys play to see what they got!

The defense did not give up 44 points in either of those games.
OK, so the defense gave up 38 to UGA and 44 to UF in 2008.
Night and day better, I say.

Pelini was a shitty DC with the talent he had on that team. Read and react doesnt work against speed, and he couldnt figure that out. So glad that head case is gone.

You're the worst poster the rants ever had.
