I am a Haynesville alum. I just get to read articles every once-in-a-while on Haynesville. I did get to go to the North Webster game and Haynesville handled them pretty easily.

Is the Golden Tornado good this year?

I think they are and the OCS dad that sat next to me last night was saying he's glad they won't have to face them in the new playoff format.
I didn't see their 37 - 14 win over UP but they must have a good defense to keep them to 14 points. That's the fewest points UP has scored so far.

I think they're good every year, but I played on teams that lost to them in 1975 & 1976. Back then, Homer beat us every year too. There may still be some psychological block when playing Haynesville for kids in Farmerville.
