Before, Union Parish was known as Farmerville, those are some straight up country boys. Duck Dynasty #6 Reed Robertson should be on the QC team. Louisiana is getting some High School Football love on the TV this year, I'm loving it here in South Texas.

Yeah, I saw that Jase was talking about him at halftime.

Farmerville came down to Port Barre for a semi-final match against us in 2000 or 2001 when they won the 2A Championship against Iota.

Daniel Francis was a Junior at the time before playing for Saban when he at LSU. We lost to Iota in the 1999 2A Championship but beat them them in the 2002 2A Championship, Daniel's Senior season.

ETA: At the time we played Farmerville, they had black and grey uniforms. Grey jerseys, since they were the visitors.

ETA2: I found out it was 2001 we played Farmerville.

I went to that game, I think it was the first home loss for Port Barre in like 3 or 4 years. The Farmers took it to the Red Devils that night he. Went I the beat Iota and Mr. football Jason Miller.

I'm a Farmer Alum and have a son that plays for OCS.

It's the first time in several years that we played a team that was more physical then us. Union is very physical and should make a run deep in the playoffs esp. since they don't have to deal with JC, ECA, and CBA anymore

One more thing, Union is the ONLY public school to vote no for the split!
