Miles on his "clap":

quote:

As it turns out, it is all about preventing injury. “You can’t be soft-handed; it has to be an aggressive clap,” he said before a demonstration. “You keep your fingers out so that you don’t get them caught in between, you know what I’m saying? If you get them in between here” — he gestured to the area between his fingers — “it can be an ineffective clap and you can get hurt. Injuries can occur if you don’t keep your fingers spread.”

I love me some Les.

I was mad about the poll results until I saw it was PPP that conducted the polls

The way Dykes writes gives me goosebumps when he talks about LSU. Every time.

Wow, what a bad article. Scatter-brained with no end game. You're the NYT for crying out loud.

thank you. great article. I luv les. I am a positigah posimiles.

I keep trying to wrap my head around this:
It was a stark example of how conflicted L.S.U. fans are when it comes to Miles, and probably always will be. Despite the success of the “Miles Method” — a national title in 2007, two Southeastern Conference titles, 85 career wins — a recent poll found Miles’s overall approval rating (40 percent) in Louisiana to be only three percentage points higher than that of Saban, whom Miles replaced and who now leads rival Alabama to national championships. Public Policy Polling, the group that conducted the poll, said Miles’s rating was “shockingly low for someone who’s accomplished as much as him.”

I cannot separate the intelligence of lsu fans from ignorance. the ranturd coaches on here are anti=miles just to prove their own stupidity.??

And this guy still hasn't gotten past the first top layer of the man, myth and legend that is CLM.

He might have driven me up the wall in the past but I still would not trade him for anyone else. Anyone who says any different is foolishly depending on some other coach to put up record numbers consistently for more than a decade when he is done here.
