Nice. Going to be shite packed with screaming LSU fans. Great place to watch a game. I spent many a days there when I lived up north.

For dinner on Friday I'd get out of Midtown though .. pretty shitty selection of restaurants. What kind of food you looking for?

Also, if you're into beer check out Rattle N Hum / 33rd & Madison Ave.

been on day trips when I lived in Jersey, please go to a jewish deli, they have lots, and get a Reuben sandwich, also find an Italian grocery store with a deli in the back and get their eggplant parm...

nothing more New York to me than Jewish and Italian deli food

I loved the hot dogs sold on the street. Seriously.

I went to a small (very small) oyster bar / fish market called Wild Edibles and I can't stop thinking about the Cioppino I had there... excellent and cheap! I also had some tasty oysters as well. Their whole menu looked amazing. If I go back to NYC I will definitely stop in there.

Ai Fiori was the best overall meal / service / drinks I've ever had anywhere, although it was a little pricey. We did the tasting menu, and I would definitely recommend that to get to try a range of dishes.

Kitchenette was a really great brunch place and the service was also good. The only bad thing was that they didn't serve liquor, so their bloody mary's were made with wine... was a little strange.
