Doesn't matter. Peyton will pass Marino and the gods will shine down upon him and Brees will play second fiddle as nothing more than an after thought.

Yeah, getting pretty sick of the Peyton Manning love fest every year. He's one of the best, i get it...but to completely ignore Brees in conversations and MVP voting when he has a super bowl win (against the anointed one), the multiple NFL records records, is just pathetic. The superbowl season is a perfect example of it...Peyton wins season MVP, loses the superbowl to the guy that passes for over 5000 yards and gets superbowl MVP. Just doesn't seem like Drew would get any respect even if he broke every record in existence.

Who gives a frick, the fans recognize Drew's greatness and that is all that matters

When it's all said and done Brees won't hold many records. I believe Peyton will pass his season yrds mark and Brady will pass the consecutive games with a TD. He'll always be able to say he was the first to break them, but they wont hold. Offensive league and records are meant to be broken. I think Brees' best seasons are behind him. He'll continue to be good but think his stats start to diminish.
