Because Penn State's commitment to doing things the right way from here on out was the reason cited for NCAA reducing the severity of their sanctions, I think SC ought to get another look. The penalty never fit the crime to begin with, so despite the fact that I am a Pat Haden guy, I feel he needs to press the NCAA for an immediate end to SC's sanctions. The NCAA has always sucked at "fair and balanced" but in light the fact that other programs with more serious transgressions getting off easy, SC is getting hosed.
Also, Mark Emmert looks like Newt Gingrich, but less masculine.
