Our linebackers are just not that talented. I can't believe people have not figured that out. Closing speed and size is not coaching.
Kwon and minter were both top 4 or higher in the nation at their position. Barrow, welter, jones, Louis, etc. just aren't going to be great lbers. Simple as that.
Beckwith will be a beast though.

Well I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet on the group. I agree Kwon has really impressed with the way he attacks the ball carrier, the surprise in the group has been Barrow. To me he had 104 tackles last year I expected more from him than where he is right now. I know Welter is giving 110% I just think he has maxed out his potential athletically and he just isn't getting the job done, nor do I have any hope that he will going forward.
