i used to hold my piss until i couldnt stay still. I spooked a good buck one time because i couldnt stop fidgeting from having to piss so bad.
Well from that point on i started just pissing out the stand. Year before last i pissed for a good long while right at the base of my tree. I could still smell the whiskey in the piss.
I kid you not, about 10 minutes after I climbed up I had several big does, and one of them big fat headed matriarch does walk right through my piss puddle and not take a second thought.
i knew then it didnt make a chit either way

The key is how to pee from your stand QUIETLY. Pee falling in leaves 20 feet below makes alot of noise.
Answer: pee on a nearby tree and let it run down the tree trunk.

i keep my backpack hanging beside me with all the important stuff in it.. such as a 32 oz empty powerade bottle to piss in. I drink too much coffee and water, i will piss several times

another thing i hate about having to piss in general...
its cold outside, and you are all bundled up.
Fingers are numb and you have several inches of clothes on.. Bang, a piss hits you...
You damn near have to pop a 1/2 of a viagra to get a little clearance to make sure you dont piss all over your clothes..
