Final scene:
Dexter has Vogel's son on the table again, this time in Argentina where he can't be touched. His knife is raised, ready to plunge deep into the last person he will kill. From behind, off camera, a voice calls out to him softly:
Aster: You thought it was your dad. Didn't you? It was me talking to you all along. I invented the code. My time machine was...
Never mind. Just end it.
