Agreed. It was 4th and 9 I believe, did he really expect to get 9 yards?

If it had worked you would be here crowing about what a brilliant call it was.

I want to say the snapper called an audible. It looked like that on the replay

It was horrible. HORRIBLE. While watching it live I thought we had the first down and was like "Hell yeah, the Old Les is back! High five. Then I found out it was short and I wanted to kill that dumb MF. ...

As I said, I think Miles is the best coach to lead the LSU football program but he looked like he was about to urinate every time I looked at him and I was about to do the same seeing how he is deflating the offense and putting defensive players at risk. That Faked FG call was insane. If he wanted to go up by 4 touch downs instead of 24 points why he started practically taking a knee in second Q?

Every now and then Miles wants to remind us who is in charge and that his name is THE MAD HATTER!

That was the one that pissed me off. Its fun being cute when it works..., not so much when it doesnt.

I agree... Something else I don't understand..... The lengths some LSU fans will go to defend anything les miles does.
I don't hate les miles nor do I even dislike him.
But anyone with half a fricking brain and the slightest bit of football iq would agree that play was not only unnecessary but incredibly stupid.

I'm guessing it was either an attaboy for Seth Fruge--dedicated walkon--(he ran that fake, right?), or it was just to put the idea in the minds of our future opponents. It obviously was out of place.

That was Les playing it conservative... Oops,my bad - wrong thread!

Actually, my own theory is that the coaches did not think they had much chance at a FG even though it was close enough. The field was so wet and soft and the footing so bad that the extra points were practically punted through the uprights and were either low line shots just over the DL or almost wide. I was actually surprised they did not go for it outright.

BTW, I was at the game in row 18 and it was a sloppy track all night. Kudo's to the TS ground crew for having it that good.

When you have a kicker that has not missed a field goal this year, give him a chance to put points on the board plus let him see what its like to kick one in the rain!
