one of the beauties of the greatest team sport is that it is not easily defined by statistics.
I like scouring PFF and these kinda things but for me the eyeball test is the best guage.
Cameron Jordan is having a solid All Pro season after two games. THIS is the DE that was considered a gift at the #24 pick.
From the get go Hicks has reminded me of Ngata. He was just so raw it takes some reps to get there. But once he does (I think he is just starting to bud), watch out.
No secret I was a big pusher for John Jenkins too. Another guy that could have a much bigger NFL career than what you saw in college.
Juneyah & Tez? It's just time to do it.
Ryan has Harper back doing what he does best, including blitzing.
Some fresh talent fo sho but a scheme that fits the personnel and that the players buy into is the diff IMO. Thank gawd Payton changes things when they aren't working. (4 DCs in 7 yrs). Seems like entire eras of my life were spent watching the poor and predictable schemes of OC Carl Smith & DC Rick Venturi.
