Well had a meeting in Baton Rouge yesterday and did something hopefully my two boys will thank me for yesterday. Went by the LDWF and got both boys a lifetime license for $200 seemed like a great deal to me. I know I wish my parents would have done it for me when they first came out.

How many of you all have done this for your kids? FYI it's $200 if they are under 4.

I got one at age 28, got one for my kid later.

The one for me has paid off more though.

All 3 of my boys have lifetime license. We have the certificates hanging on the wall. I was 35 before I got my own...

Great gift for young uns. I got my son his lifetime for his first b-day. I fjust figured anything else he would never remeber and it would wind up in the trash or at Goodwill, while the license will last forever.

Damn... price doubles at age 5. I wish I would have thought about this sooner.
My boys are 6 & 8, gonna have to do this before they turn 13.
