You can put steel cut oats in a small $10 crock pot and set the timer so it and your coffee are ready when you get up.

I have two cups of coffee with Splenda every morning and about four or five mornings I have scrambled egg whites with a couple slices of turkey in them. I buy the quarts of 100% egg whites. I'll add one whole egg for a bit of richness.
