re: Quick Synopses of New TV Shows - What can you come up with?

I started writing a tv show based off of an internship I had in college but I only got midway through the second episode.

Always thought that in a few years, some network should go back and redo the Harry Potter series as 10 episode seasons and follow the books closer while further exploring that universe.

I also came up with the idea for a hour long dramedy called "Workers". It would follow 4 different people at 4 different levels of the job market or whatever. The lowest level guy would be this high school kid just starting out at his first job (probably a movie theater or something) - the first scene of the series would be him in his interview. The next level up would be his older brother just starting out after college. He works for this sports agency after a unnotable college football career with a powerhouse program. His boss is a complete a-hole and not of the Ari Gold variety. The third "worker" would be his stoner friend who loves video games and tv and such but suddenly inherits his own regional best buy like store. The top level would be the father of the movie theater kid and agent who works as the assistant marketing director of some reasonably sized advertising/marketing firm. The head marketing director is only there because the head of the board of directors puts him there because the MD is his son who can't do shite on his own.

Just an idea I was running with.
