Sleepy Hollow - Season Long Thread (Season Finale tonight!)

I know it looks terrible but I'm curious how something that looks so bad up front can make it this far. If I can watch a whole season of the following and somehow be entertained by how unrealistic characters act I cannot wait to see how characters will act unrealistically to a headless horseman.
Any other takers?

It's actually getting pretty positive reviews so I'm looking forward to it. Gonna DVR it and watch it tomorrow.

From the commercials I wouldn't say it looks terrible. I'll give it a shot with my only expectation being to be entertained by a TV show, nothing more. I'm not expecting it to be my favorite show or anything.

What gets canceled first? This or The Following?

I'm giving it a shot... there's certainly not anything else to watch. I'm glad they're premiering early.

I have it set to record. My only concern is how are they going to build multiple seasons off of this premise. We already know (or think we do) the main villain ie headless horseman. How much havoc can he wreck for multiple episodes. It isn't like grimm where you can have a new and never before seen bad guy every week.

I think it looks interesting enough to give it a chance

Hate to be a party pooper, but I did not like it. I'm notoriously difficult with getting into shows, and, full disclosure, my wife, who generally is a much better judge, liked it, but my problem was with the writing.
I hated that they took so many liberties with the original story. Why did icabod have to be a British soldier who "turned?" Also the horseman was a hessian, not British, although they never expressly stated that he was British in the show, although it was implied. Finally, Katrina was not icabod's wife, so why go there?
I know I'm quirky, but I thought the original stories provided enough source material for talented writers, so why take the liberties? Just my two cents.
