I wish we could have a Louisiana purple/gold flag...

... when we come out for entrances. I know this sound corny or whatever, but it shows state pride kind of like the Texas Longhorns with the Texas state flag. I wish alot of these Louisiana high recruits who are on the bangwagon Alabama train would understand state pride.

One of my pet peeves are people who talk about representing where they are from, and then go out of state for school. This is particularly bad in New Orleans.

At the risk of sounding racist. 18 year old black kids couldn't give two shits about state pride.

Every state feels this way. We wouldn't be who we are without out of state recruits.

Get over it.

If these in-state recruits realized that they will likely not make it to the NFL, they will have to work a real job, and if they plan to stay in Louisiana, they would be much better off playing at LSU. However, I imagine most think (naively so) that they will go pro and won't have to worry about working at a real job for a living.

Why does it have to be purple and gold? Pretty sure none of the Texas schools use a school colored Texas flag.
