Yeah, it's really strange the hatred for both of them. I mean, Alex Baldwin is a douche but he makes awesome movies.

I don't dislike Clooney. He's a clown, but I don't dislike him as an actor. I really would give SB a kick in the count, if I could. I find her deplorable.

That makes Alec much different than SB. He's an awesome actor. He's the best host ever on SNL. His 5 minutes on Glegarry Glenross are better than SB's entire career.
ETA: She's not a good actress, she's not hot, so the better question would be, why does anyone like her at all?
