By that point, yes. But if he had looked at the whole field instead of fixing on one guy, the Saints would have lost.

Even afterward, if he doesn't panic against a 3 man rush and gets a decent throw off to TG, it's probably a completion and Falcons win

He did. Look at the article posted in another thread (Buccs vs Saints D, I think). He looked left where Douglas and Jones were. They were both doubled and the Saints basically "jumbled" that area of the field. The pressure didn't allow Ryan to wait until Douglas came free so he was forced to throw to Tony. Had there been no pressure, he could have waited for Douglas, or Tony to come free (I think he would have) and it would be game over. The 3 man pressure won the game.

I don't think he paniced though. even off his back foot the ball to tony g was an accurate throw. From the instant the ball was snapped he locked onto douglas. Seemed like a designed play
